PROFILE SUMMARY

The Production Controller will schedule production and ensure the ERP system is updated to reflect current information. The Production Controller will work closely with the production team to manage resources, schedule production runs, and monitor performance to ensure on-time delivery for orders and the highest resource efficiency. The production controller will also ensure system data

validity and integrity.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while maintaining efficient production levels
• Adjust production schedules daily to accommodate changes in priorities and resource constraints.
• Publish daily job dispatches and monitor job execution to update the schedule as required

• Monitor production execution performance to update and improve schedules and report delays

• Produce production performance reports and analyze the data to identify trends and areas for improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource utilization to minimize indirect labor and maximize production efficiency

• Perform audits in the ERP system to ensure the data is accurate, up to date and complete

• Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve production processes.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Occupational Health and Safety Understanding and applying the GN Corporations Inc. Health and Safety policy as well as being responsible for their own health and safety at work, to avoid

adversely affecting the health and safety of others through any act or omission.

Industry Standards and Regulations Being familiar with all relevant industry standards,

recommended practices, and regulations. Monitoring self-compliance with company, industry and

government requirements as well as promoting their acceptance in all aspects of GNs

business-related activities.

• Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in production planning or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with production planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency with MRP software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
