Our client is seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Senior Director of Risk & Compliance. This pivotal position will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the organization's risk management and compliance frameworks. The Senior Director will collaborate with executive leadership to ensure that the organization adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains a culture of integrity and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain effective compliance programs, evaluating and strengthening internal controls for adherence to laws and regulations.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to the risk and compliance teams, driving performance through mentorship and development initiatives.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits, reporting findings to executive leadership and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Facilitate risk awareness training for staff and contribute to the risk management culture across all departments.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or related disciplines, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven leadership experience in directing risk management and compliance functions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into comprehensible strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) are preferred.
