Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive community engagement strategy that promotes participation and collaboration.
- Building and maintaining relationships with community leaders, stakeholders, and organizations to enhance outreach and partnership opportunities.
- Creating and overseeing programs that align with community needs, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
- Leading a team dedicated to community engagement initiatives, fostering a culture of creativity and responsiveness.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of community engagement activities and demonstrating impact through data and feedback.
- Representing the organization at community events, forums, and meetings to advocate for community interests.
- Aligning community engagement strategies with overall organizational objectives and priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, Communications, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in community engagement, program development, or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in building partnerships and fostering community relations.
- Knowledge of community dynamics and the challenges faced by local populations.
- Experience in program evaluation and measuring engagement impact.
- Ability to work collaboratively across organizational departments and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
