This team member position is accountable for performing activities necessary to continuously improve the creation and delivery of value to our customers. As a valuable member of the BD Diesel team, this position contributes to the goal of being an innovative and world class manufacturer that serves the North American diesel and gas vehicle industry.

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and takes daily direction from the Receiving Team Lead.

Requirements

  • Inspect incoming cores by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; following a Core Acceptance criterion.
  • Follow the up-to-date SOPs to inspect the Cores.
  • Document Core inspection results by taking photos and completing RMA inspection reports precisely into ERP system
  • Store denied cores and approved cores at their designated locations.
  • In case of not finding Like-for-Like cores, follow the prescribed steps to resolve the issue by informing your supervisor and Sales department.
  • Answer all the queries related to Inspected cores and resolve the issues on regularly basis.
  • After getting customer's reply on denied cores, take appropriate action and update RMA's notes.
  • Assist the receiving team as required with incoming product.
  • Work with production and warehouse teams to ensure the timely delivery of goods.
  • Receive, inspect, and reconcile inbound shipments against purchase orders; ensure documentation accuracy.

  • Correctable hearing within normal ranges.
  • Ability to hear conversations, receive information, and detect safety warnings.
  • Regularly stand, walk, use stairs, sit, and kneel.
  • Ability to remain stationary and move as needed.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs manually.

Education & Experience:

• High school education with mechanical aptitude.

• Class 1 Counterbalanced Forklift - Operator Certificate

• Class 3 Power Pallet Jack - Operator Certificate

• Preferred: 1-year experience in production or warehouse setting

*Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Pay: $22.00 to $23.00/hr
