Crisp is partnering with Cube Business Media, a fast-growing corporate events company that connects industry leaders through impactful events. Their marketing team plays a crucial role in driving ticket sales, securing sponsorships, and maximizing advertising revenue.

Cube is looking for a Performance Marketing and Automations Strategist to take ownership of paid media, marketing automation, analytics, website updates, and integrations. This role will be responsible for optimizing Cube's marketing tech stack and ensuring campaigns are data-driven, automated, and continuously optimized for maximum impact.

A background in conference, trade show and event marketing is highly desired, as this role will focus on driving event registrations, increasing sponsorship engagement, and improving marketing performance for Cube's portfolio of events.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media & Campaign Optimization

  • Develop and execute paid media campaigns that drive ticket sales, sponsorship engagement, and advertising revenue.

  • Optimize campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and programmatic platforms, ensuring high ROI and low cost-per-acquisition.

  • Conduct A/B testing, audience segmentation, and ad performance tracking to maximize effectiveness.

  • Manage and allocate paid media budgets, continuously monitoring and adjusting spend to align with marketing objectives.

Marketing Technology & Automation

  • Own and manage ActiveCampaign (CRM and email marketing), including tagging, automation, lead nurturing, and audience segmentation.

  • Oversee marketing technology integrations, ensuring seamless connections between CRM, analytics, ad platforms, event technology, and automation tools.

  • Manage and optimize integrations using Zapier (or similar tools) to automate workflows and improve marketing efficiency.

  • Own and optimize the AI program across departments, ensuring effective implementation and continuous improvement in workflows and efficiencies.

Analytics, Reporting & Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards in Looker Studio, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and other analytics tools.

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, including ticket sales, sponsorship engagement, advertising effectiveness, and marketing ROI.

  • Use insights to refine campaign strategies, audience targeting, and conversion optimization.

  • Provide actionable reports to senior leadership, guiding event marketing and sponsorship strategies.

Website Management & SEO

  • Work with designer to conduct website updates in WordPress, ensuring event pages, registration flows, and sponsor content are optimized for user experience and conversions.

  • Manage website integrations with CRM, analytics, payment gateways, and automation tools.

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and increase traffic to event registration pages.

Event Promotion & Growth Strategy

  • Work with Senior Marketing Strategist to Ensure marketing efforts align with event sales goals, driving ticket purchases, sponsorships, and exhibitor sign-ups.

  • Work closely with sales, events, and content teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Identify opportunities for audience growth and improved engagement through marketing automation, retargeting, and personalization strategies.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with expertise in paid media, analytics, marketing automation, and SEO. A minimum of 2 years managing complex multi-channel paid advertising campaigns is required.

  • Highly desired: Background in event marketing, ticket sales, or sponsorship acquisition.

  • Experience managing ActiveCampaign (or a similar CRM) for email automation, tagging, and funnel optimization.

  • Experience managing and sending emails in ActiveCampaign.

  • Strong proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Looker Studio, and marketing dashboard development.

  • Proven track record in executing and optimizing paid media campaigns to drive ticket sales and sponsorship engagement.

  • Hands-on experience with WordPress website updates and integrations.

  • Strong knowledge of Zapier (or similar automation tools) for streamlining marketing workflows.

  • Analytical mindset – ability to interpret data, optimize campaigns, and improve conversion rates.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and enhance marketing processes.

  • Experience with A/B testing, CRO, and lead nurturing automation.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and event teams to drive success.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $63,0000 to $75,000 per year

Schedule and Location:

  • Monday to Friday, Three days on site at Cube's North Vancouver office (near Lonsdale Quay)
