Who You Are
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented sales administrator to join our dynamic Account Management team. This role is designed to provide essential support to small business clients and to our account management team members, helping increase the teams efficiency while offering exceptional and timely service to our clients.

Role Responsibilities
Sales Helpdesk Management:
- Act as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries by clients, via the companys Sales Helpdesk, replying directly to small business requests for new project cost quotes, preparing and executing requests for contract updates/upgrades, providing email responses to clients on basic questions, etc.)
- Triage requests and efficiently route more complex issues to the appropriate Account Manager or other team members within the organization
- Help develop and maintain standard responses and knowledge base articles to help clients find answers on their own, to the most commonly asked questions
- Properly document relevant activities and data in systems such as Salesforce CRM to properly track sales bookings, client interactions, etc.
Account Management Support:
- Assist Account Managers with administrative tasks, including scheduling client meetings, and coordinating follow-ups by the appropriate individuals to meet client needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system (e.g., logging activities, updating contact information, managing opportunity details)
- Assist with onboarding new clients from an administrative perspective
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes within the Account Management team
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Enablement, Services, Support) as needed on cross-functional tasks
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the team's success
Required Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role ideally within a sales, account management, or customer service environment
- Post-secondary education
- Experience in a market research-related field would be an asset
- Ability to multitask, with a positive and constructive attitude, handling multiple account and/or team member requests simultaneously, given the role will exist in a rapidly changing environment in which priorities may shift frequently
- A sense of urgency and commitment to completing tasks, with a focus on delivering results
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and establish relationships with clients and internal teams
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace) and comfortable learning new systems
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, etc.) is a significant plus
- Meticulous attention to detail, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills
Location
This position is open to all applicants located in Canada, although preference will be given to those located in Ottawa and those in the Eastern Time Zone.
