Role Summary:

As we look to the future, our focus is on both organic and inorganic growth strategies, with ambitious plans for exponential expansion over the next 3 to 5 years in the Western Canadian markets. To drive these initiatives, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our Business Development & Sales team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, business development coordination, bid and proposal management, project management as well as sales and marketing. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals and marketing material that highlight our companys strengths and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Proposal and Bid Management: Lead the development and management of proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile technical and financial data.
  • Sales Administration: Support the sales team by managing administrative tasks, client communications, and documentation, ensuring seamless sales operations.
  • Website Management: Oversee the content and functionality of the company website, ensuring it represents our brand and services accurately and attractively.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies that enhance our visibility and engagement with clients and stakeholders.
  • Event Management: Coordinate and manage corporate events, including logistics, marketing, and follow-up activities, to enhance brand visibility and market presence.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a business development or marketing role, preferably within the construction or environmental sectors.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational abilities, strong communication skills, proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

  • This position is based in our Calgary office.
  • Occasional travel and overtime may be required to meet business needs.
