Job Duties:

Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment for various agricultural tasks

Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops

Maintain equipment at all times and complete repairs during downtime

Progressive farm practices to maximize crop yields, Cropping 13,000 acres and growing

Attach snow moving equipment and move snow as required to allow for equipment to move during winter months

Utilize basic math skills for measuring and mixing fertilizers and pesticides

Haul grain to bins from fields as required if applicable

Keep equipment and shop clean and follow safety procedures

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

Requirements

Job Requirements:

3 years previous experience in agriculture or related field preferred

Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and power tools

Proficient in the use of hand tools for various agricultural tasks

Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and minor repairs

Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor in outdoor environments

Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Willingness to work long hours during peak seasons

Physical stamina to withstand extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting

Computer skills is an asset
