Job DescriptionPower Engineer
Be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of plant and mechanical facilities for our 519-room hotel, working on the installation and upkeep of electrics and boilers.
This is a permanent, full-time position starting immediately.
Starting Pay Rate: $33.25 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $41.05.
Job Duties Include:
- Preventative maintenance and servicing of physical plant and mechanical facilities
- Services and repairs in all public and guest areas
- Installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, including lighting and other controls
- 120-220V wiring in restaurants, pool and public areas
- Maintenance and replacement of boiler motors.
- 4th Class Power Engineering designation required
- Pool Operator certificate is an asset
- Knowledge of energy management systems and HVAC an asset
