Job DescriptionWork with business units and 3rd party partners to create and automate simple to complex reports that help streamline business processes and drive business growth. Manage the data warehouse by updating with relevant member information and ensuring it is always up to date and available for staff. Responsible for helping implement predictive analytics to assist with strategic objectives. In addition to reporting and analytics this position is responsible for providing internal technical support to staff with regards to banking system applications (CRM, LOS, AOS etc.) and desktops/applications. This position is responsible for employee administration tasks such as employee onboarding, off boarding, changes etc. Follow a role based approach to identity management. Provide back-up for banking system updates (RFS, LOS, CRM etc.) and enhancement implementations.
Maintain close liaison with data supplier to ensure an up to date knowledge of all system changes; consult and recommend changes and make required changes/upgrades to data system.
Differentiating Accountabilities:
- Be a subject matter expert for data analytics and related technologies. Work closely with the business in order to understand both current and future needs.
- Create simple to complex reporting utilizing industry standard tools (SQL SSRS, Power BI etc.). Enhance and maintain data warehouse; work with business to enhance the value of the reports/analytics we utilize
- Work collaboratively with other Credit Unions to develop and enhance systems across the environment.
- Provide internal support for day to day system issues and requests
- Lead the employee onboarding, offboarding, transfer processes with an eye towards efficiency and accuracy.
- Work with 3rd party partners and manage projects to implement system enhancements, process improvements, system upgrades. (CGI, Central1, Doxim, etc.)
- Automate daily processes by utilizing scripts, powershell, APIs or other automation systems
- Provide support and guidance to staff on related issues. Communicate known problems to appropriate parties and follow problem management methodologies to identify and resolve root cause. Update internal knowledgebase to allow for self-serve opportunities and to educate other IT staff.
- Process periodic routines (MTPs, reports etc.) to ensure the proper operations of business and system processes.
- Utilize project management and business analysis methodologies to lead the implementation of projects
- Perform other assigned responsibilities.
- 3+ years developing SQL SSRS and PowerBI reports varying in complexity
- R programming and strong understanding of statistics is an asset
- 5+ years working with Microsoft Office
- Familiar with banking systems and related technologies (RFS/Wealthview, Ovation) and related database structure
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge or certification in ITIL or COBIT an asset
Additional Information
Target Salary: $54,910
Salary will be determined based on skills, experience, education and other qualifications relevant to this position.
12 month contract with possible extension.
