We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee and optimize the operations of our service department. This role involves managing a team of Field Technicians and Dispatch personnel, ensuring efficient scheduling and project execution, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, expertise in dispatch and scheduling, and a customer-focused mindset.

This is a 100% onsite role for our offices in Markham.What You'll do:
  • Oversee the dispatch and scheduling team, ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Manage Field Technicians across Canada, working closely with Lead Technicians to organize training schedules and skill development.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with staff, suppliers, partners, and customers.
  • Review and assist in organizing projects to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee large scheduled projects, ensuring all related equipment is received and properly organized.
  • Monitor service metrics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Review project profitability, maintain budgets, and control costs to meet financial goals.
  • Optimize resource allocation to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Assist in documenting Statements of Work (SOWs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance service offerings.
What we Need:Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of service operations, customer service principles, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
Experience
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in a service management or leadership role.
  • Strong problem solving skills and detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • Certifications in customer service or management.
