- Safely marshalling in and out arriving and departing aircrafts, taking care to secure the aircraft and provide car valet service, luggage handling as necessary;
- Safely operate fuel trucks - fueling and completing aircraft orders;
- Performing loading and receiving of fuel at storage facility;
- Handle aviation/jet fuel quality checks by conducting various tests and procedures;
- Document fuel quality and fueling equipment inspections on applicable forms;
- Tow aircraft in and out of hangars and on aprons/ramps;
- Provide any number of ground services to aircrafts (i.e. connecting ground power units, lavatory waste disposal, potable water etc.);
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct with customers and coworkers;
- Maintain the cleanliness of all facilities and equipment;
- Other duties as required.
- High school Diploma or GED required;
- Valid Class 5 with the ability to obtain a Class 3 w/airbrakes.
- Must be able to obtain a Transport Canada Security Clearance, including an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit.
- Aviation experience is considered an asset;
- Must be a team player with good communication skills;
- Must have basic computer skills;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Being mechanically-inclined is considered an asset;
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
- Ability to work outside in a variety of weather/environmental conditions.
- Applicants must have own transportation and the ability to work different types of shifts, mornings, afternoons, overnights.
