ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Analyst, Risk Modeling primarily support Credit Risk Analytics and Modelling team in providing oversight of credit portfolios and inform ERM management of emerging risks and trends. The incumbent will also be engaged in market intelligence research in order to identify early warning signs and emerging credit risk issues. Output of work will be used in refining risk mitigation strategies and effective underwriting and pricing decisions.

In addition:

Explore new modelling techniques and information sources to enhance portfolio.
Support the execution of enterprise stress testing and scenario analysis program.
Maintain performance monitoring on new accounts; ensure performance aligns with expected outcomes
Identify areas for improvement from a data capture, data quality or technology perspectives
Assist in developing and maintaining credit risk models to estimate PD and LGD by product and segments.
Develop models that assess the impact of macroeconomic scenarios on defaults and losses
Build innovative predictive risk models for originations, portfolio management and collection activities
Write SAS programs and macro to increase the efficiency.

WHAT WE REQUIRE:

  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Great communication skills
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in business management, finance, or related field (university an asset)
