Service Technician
Location: Mississauga, ON
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description & Responsibilities: Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will:

• Service, install, and maintain welding fume and vehicle exhaust extraction systems (ductwork, extraction arms, filters, fans, etc.)

• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance according to company procedures

• Diagnose mechanical and technical issues, and determine effective solutions

• Complete detailed service reports and documentation for all work performed

• Operate hoisting and lifting devices (e.g., forklifts, scissor lifts)

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and daily activity reports

• Travel to customer sites across the region (meals and accommodations covered when applicable)

Required Qualifications & Skills: Service Technician

• Experience with sheet metal tools and installation

• Ability to install, repair, test, and troubleshoot mechanical systems

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams

• Valid G Class Driver's License (clean abstract required)

• Certified to operate forklifts and scissor lifts

• Working at Heights Certification

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must be comfortable working in industrial environments

• Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently
• Willingness to travel for service calls
• Strong attention to safety and detail

Preferred (Assets, Not Mandatory)

• 407A Sheet Metal Worker Certification

Compensation & Benefits: Service Technician

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 – $35.00/hr (based on experience)
