As a Project Manager (PM), you will play a critical role in ensuring successful software deployment and customer adoption. Youll oversee multiple projects from initiation to completion, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining a superior customer experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager (PM) to lead software deployment projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while providing an exceptional customer experience. The PM will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing scope, quality, timeline, and cost in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role requires strong project execution skills, the ability to set and manage expectations, and a proactive approach to risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership & Execution
    • Define, adjust, and communicate project scope, tasks, milestones, timeline, and deliverables to ensure successful customer deployments.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project implementation activities.
    • Establish strong command and control over project delivery, ensuring alignment between internal teams and customers.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather key documentation and resources, setting clear expectations for stakeholders.
    • Support the creation and execution of Statements of Work (SOWs) as needed.
  • Risk & Quality Management
    • Identify early signs of project or customer risks, proactively developing and executing risk mitigation strategies.
    • Define acceptance criteria and oversee project closure, ensuring proper sign-off from customers.
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
    • Occasionally travel to customer sites to conduct training, implementation support, and strengthen customer relationships.
    • Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to enhance customer satisfaction and adoption of deployed solutions.
    • Provide input during the sales process by participating in customer presentations when required.
  • Process Improvement & Best Practices
    • Continuously improve and document delivery processes and methodologies to optimize customer experience and internal efficiency.
    • Stay current on industry trends, project management methodologies, and best practices to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

  • 3+ years of project management or related experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong aptitude for technology tools and solutions, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms.
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving product environment, responding strategically to customer needs.
  • Experience in government accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Lean, Agile, or Waterfall is a plus.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
