Location: Stellarton, NS
Start Date: Commercial new build project anticipated to start in September 2025 and last 7-10 months. However, if you are interested in travelling weekly throughout NS and NB, there could be an opportunity to join the team sooner in a full-time capacity.
Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Installer to join our valued client's team. If you are an apprentice, Journeyperson, or have worked in a Lead Hand/supervisory capacity, we would love to chat with you!Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and install air and heat ducts
• Measure, mark, and lay out sheet metal
• Smooth and polish seams, joints, and rough edges
• Install HRV units and central heat pumps
• Read and interpret blueprints and work specifications
• Communicate with customers to ensure project requirements are met
• Adhere to safe work practices at all times
• Document work completed during service assignments
• Perform other tasks as necessary to meet project and customer needs

Qualifications & Experience:

• Commercial experience required for Lead Hand candidates. Residential experience can be considered for those not in a supervisory role
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
• Own hand tools, tool pouch, and steel-toe safety boots
• Willingness to travel daily within the service area, with occasional travel to more remote locations (Company transportation provided)
• Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week or 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs, and perform tasks involving standing, bending, crouching, reaching, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
• The role requires working at heights, on rooftops, and with materials such as industrial glues, refrigerants, and electrical components
