Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team at MRCC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the companys premises, personnel, and intellectual property. The role involves maintaining a secure environment, conducting regular patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to incidents in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and patrol company premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, theft, or unauthorized activity.

Review security systems such as surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.

Ensure all visitors are checked in and authorized to access the building or specific areas.

Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches.

Enforce company policies and procedures regarding safety and security protocols.

Conduct routine checks of fire exits, emergency equipment, and other critical areas.

Write detailed security logs and incident reports as necessary.

Assist in providing a safe environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Support the implementation of security protocols in line with corporate policies.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent;further education or training in security preferred.

Ontario Security Guard License
Valid First Aid and CPR certificate

Previous experience as a security guard or in a similar role is desirable.

Strong attention to detail, ability to identify potential risks and hazards.

Ability to handle stressful situations and respond appropriately.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to work independently and have excellent customer service and reception skills
