BIMM is booming, so we're looking for Three talented Content Author Interns to join our team for four months, starting May 5th, 2025.
As we observe a hybrid model during May, June and July, this role will require you to be in the office for two days/week (at BIMM HQ in the Distillery District on Tuesdays and Thursdays) and work virtually for the other three days. We are fully virtual in August.

BIMM is a Toronto-based agency, we turned 45 years old recently, that lives at the intersection of data, technology, and creativity to provide clients with high-performing campaigns and digital products that shape connected customer experiences. We've helped our clients implement fully integrated CRM customer journeys, built robust digital experiences, and created national loyalty programs with decades of experience in sectors of automotive, financial, telco and retail.
Who we're looking for
Our ideal candidate is a quick-learning, detail-oriented self-starter with strong interpersonal communication skills and a knack for problem solving. The role will work closely with our Content Operations team on digital projects, interfacing with other Content Authors, Project Managers and Product Owners. You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content according to our clients' business goals and brand requirements.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Create and maintain content in Content Management Systems (CMS) for our clients' websites
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Teams and stakeholders to develop and implement site content, style and layout
- Supporting on feature integrations with the development teams and troubleshooting technical issues
- Crop, compress, transfer and manage visual assets in Digital Asset Management Systems
- Practice quality assurance for the work of yourself and your team
- Deploy/activate website content on a consistent schedule
- Liaise when needed with Content Designers and Product Specialists to ensure accuracy and brand consistency
- Collaborate with Developers to ensure that CMS components can support brand content and accessibility requirements
- Implement legal and compliance requirements (e.g. copyright, accessibility, data protection, and legal disclaimers)
- Stay up to date with web content best practices and standards
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Digital Advertising or Business Administration program or similar
- Strong computer and software skills (including CMS programs, Adobe suite, SharePoint, project management software)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive and the ability to anticipate and manage risk
- The ability to be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced environment
- An energetic approach to multi-tasking and able to process information quickly
- The ability to work independently while maintaining focus and delivering tasks on time
- A calm and patient demeanor under pressure
Nice to haves
- Previous work experience as a Content Manager/Author
- Hands-on experience with MS Office, Photoshop, and content management platforms (Adobe Experience Manager)
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- Working knowledge of WCAG AA Accessibility standards
- Basic knowledge of HTML and website development
- Knowledge of on-page SEO practices and tactics
Technology Requirements
To ensure a secure and compatible working environment, the following technology requirements must be met:
- Use a Mac or Windows device (Linux or other OS not supported)
- Windows 11 or macOS Sonoma/Sequoia or newer is required
- Windows 10 may be used up to October 2025
- macOS Big Sur, Monterey, and Ventura are not permitted
- Device must be less than 4 years old
- Agree to have us install and maintain BIMM's security tools on your device. These tools must remain active, with all permissions and configurations unchanged for the duration of the contract
Interview Process
- 1st Interview - Virtual HR meeting with a member of HR team
- 2nd Interview – Virtual Team meeting with reporting manager (CMS Content Lead) and another member of the content team
