Pay: $32-40/hr. depending on experience Shift: Days/Afternoons RESPONSIBILITES:
- Develop Manual, Semi-automated, and Automated mechanical fixturing solutions.
- Develop interfaces for both assembled modules and PCBA level tests.
- Generate the mechanical drawings/prints for the machine shop to fabricate parts.
- Work with the machine shop to optimize the design to reduce fabrication costs.
- Engage with the ECU Mechanical Design Engineers early in the prototype phase to develop and include design elements to aid in robust and reliable fixturing of the DUT.
- Work with the Manufacturing Test Engineers on yield issues that are related to mechanical engagement/interfaces.
- Develop test jigs and custom mechanical parts to aid in prototype and validation of test systems.
- Completion of 4-year apprenticeship or combination of 4 years work experience
- 310T or S certification required.
- Automated/semi-automated/manual fixture design for high-volume manufacturing.
- Automotive check fixture experience.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Experience developing functional assembled level test fixtures.
