Accounts Receivable Clerk
Position Overview:
Lambert Nemec Group, Winnipeg's leader in Accounting & Finance recruitment, has partnered with our client in the city to recruit an Accounts Receivable Clerk. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Receivable Administrator will be responsible in managing the receivable process from setting up customer accounts, credit check & approvals, order entry and collection.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and send invoices, process deposits and apply payments
· Set up new customer accounts and ensure that all client accounts are updated and maintained.
· Following up with customers regarding payment on account
· Costing reconciliations for completed repair & warranty orders
· Responsible for answering internal and external inquiries for the accounts receivable department.
· Ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
· 2-3 years of accounting experience, particularly in accounts receivable
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting softwares
· Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
· Excellent customer service and oral communication skills
· Ability to working independently and in a team setting
