The RM Auto Groupis currently seeking aFull-TimeDealership Accountant!

Reporting to the Dealership Controller, you will perform full cycle accounting for our Mainway Mazda dealership. This role will be located between Meidl Honda and Mainway Mazda. This is a fast-paced position that will be responsible for:

• Performing a wide range of dealership accounting, working closely with operations.
• Processing and posting car sales, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Assisting in the preparation of month end financial results.
• Performing routine account reconciliations and analysis identifying areas of opportunity or risk.
• Monitoring key balance sheet accounts and compiling reports for the management team.

Automotive experience is not required but would be considered an asset. The right candidate will have a positive attitude, great communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Heres what you bring to the table:

• Working towards or completion of an accounting degree. Relevant prior experience will also be considered.
• Proactive, energetic, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Well organized, assertive, diplomatic, and detail oriented with accuracy in all functions of the role.
• Experience with PBS Dealership Management System is considered an asset.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with a proficiency in Excel.
