Job Title: LMS Coordinator
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized LMS Coordinator who will work closely with the Dean of Programs to manage and maintain curriculum content within Moodle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Moodle, a strong understanding of curriculum management, and a passion for using technology to improve educational delivery. This position plays a key role in ensuring that course content, assessments, and other resources are accurately represented and accessible to faculty and students.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Dean of Programs to organize and maintain curriculum content within Moodle.
- Ensure that all course materials, syllabi, assignments, and assessments are accurately uploaded and structured in Moodle.
- Assist faculty in the setup, management, and delivery of online and hybrid courses within the LMS.
- Provide ongoing support to faculty in integrating instructional content, multimedia, and assessments into Moodle.
- Optimize the use of Moodles features to enhance curriculum delivery and management.
- Monitor course content to ensure alignment with academic standards and institutional guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to curriculum management in Moodle.
- Train and support faculty in best practices for using Moodle to manage course content and interact with students.
- Maintain curriculum data integrity, ensuring that course updates, changes, and revisions are properly implemented in the system.
- Collaborate with IT and instructional design teams to integrate Moodle with other campus systems and tools to support curriculum management.
- Provide analytics and reporting to track course performance, engagement, and other key metrics.
- Support the development of self-paced course content in Moodle.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in education, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in an educational institution or similar environment.
- Proven experience with Moodle administration and curriculum management.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and online learning methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and IT professionals.
This is an in-person position with the flexibility to work from any of WCCs campuses in SurreyScott Road or Surrey Centralbased on operational needs.
