About the Role:

One of our clients is looking for a Technical Lead EDW who will oversee both development and testing efforts within our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) projects. The role requires experience in Informatica, Talend, Oracle, and Hadoop, with a focus on guiding development and testing teams, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with data architects to define data models and integration patterns.
• Define and implement testing strategies for ETL, data validation, and performance testing.
• Work with testing teams to review test cases, test plan.
• Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues, ETL failures, and performance bottlenecks.
• Act as a mentor for development and testing teams, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance on ETL design, debugging, and optimization.
• Troubleshoot critical issues across development and testing phases.
• Guide teams in root cause analysis and defect resolution.
• Work closely with customer teams to understand business requirements and technical needs.
• Align and finalize project plans with customers, ensuring clarity on scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Provide regular updates on development and testing progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Participate in discussions to improve EDW architecture, data flows, and quality processes.
• Troubleshoot data transformation errors, ETL job failures, and performance issues.
• Assist in test execution and validation for critical scenarios.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) development and testing.
• Experience in Informatica, Talend, Oracle, and Hadoop.
• Hands-on experience in ETL development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of ETL testing, data validation, and automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL, data profiling, and performance tuning.
• Experience leading both development and testing teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide technical solutions.
• Experience working in a customer-facing role, managing technical discussions.
