We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Material Handler to join our team in Abbotsford, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our warehouse, contributing to our commitment to exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Receive, count, and verify incoming materials from vendors and customer returns
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies
- Ensure proper storage and organization of materials within the warehouse
- Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and maintain high service levels
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Perform regular cycle counts and participate in inventory audits
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures
- Operate warehouse management software to process orders and update inventory
- Assist with customer service at the counter as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; college or university degree is an asset
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy items regularly
- Basic math skills and ability to perform accurate counts
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse operations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workloads
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of infrastructure products
- Experience with Trend, Eclipse, or similar warehouse management systems
- Forklift certification (training can be provided for the right candidate)

Salary Range - $42,500 per year
