With a history spanning more than seven decades, Communications & Power Industries' thousands of products have impacted people's lives in numerous unseen ways every day. Our highly engineered products serve as the backbone of modern-day commercial and military communications systems, assist in diagnosing medical conditions, empower scientific discoveries and space exploration, and much more.

We are actively seeking applicants for our Internship Program. Our interns will work alongside out multi-disciplined team on real projects.

Position Description:

This position includes a variety of marketing activities including the following:

  • Social Media:
    • Develop CPI content
    • Respond to comments and messages through social media platforms
    • Analyze metrics and make recommendations
    • Design graphics for posts ensuring brand consistency across platforms
    • Maintain the content calendar
    • Research trending topics
  • Intranet
    • Conduct internal user interviews to gather feedback on current intranet usage and identify desired functionalities for an upgraded intranet
    • Probe users' requests to better understand needs and challenges
    • Support the mapping of intranet requirements based on interview findings to help inform design and improvements.
  • Data Sheets & Brochures
    • Ensure all brochures and data sheets are up to date
    • Upload documents to the website and the intranet
  • General Support:
    • Assisting with preparations for events, trade shows or presentations
    • Occasional administrative tasks

Position Requirements:

  • College or University Student
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint and Excel); experience with SharePoint is highly desirable
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Hootsuite & Canva required; familiarity with Google Analytics is a plus
  • Great communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Very creative, thinks outside the box
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail
