Position Summary

The Body Shop Manager is a professional and experienced individual with management and estimating experience who is responsible for managing an efficient and profitable Body Shop that prioritizes customer satisfaction and retention. The main responsibilities include operating the shop at maximum production, building customer relationships, maintaining positive employee relationships, controlling costs, completing reports and meeting sales and profit objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee detailed collision damage estimate reports

Ensure operational efficiency and smooth processes

Maintain KPI on Collision Repair Scorecard

Inspect work for quality assurance

Interview, hire, train, and develop the team

Manage team performance and conduct annual reviews

Maintain high customer satisfaction and resolve complaints

Identify and implement process improvements

Establish a safe, positive work environment

Skills & Requirements

Management and leadership skills

Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize and maintain professionalism

Self-driven and collaborative team player

Technical Requirements

3-5 years of collision repair estimating experience (required)

Previous management experience

Valid BC drivers license

ICBC Insurance experience (asset)

Post-secondary training (asset)

Commitment to continuous learning

Logistical Requirements

The Dueck Richmond Body Shop Department is open to customers five days a weekMonday to Friday from 8am to 5:30pm. This is a full-time position that may require working extended hours, including weekends, in order to meet deadlines based on the needs of the business.
