Job DescriptionOur Emco Waterworks Profit Centre in Edmonton AB is a location staffed by a professional team who pride themselves on the delivery of exceptional levels of customer service. We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team for the season (April-Nov 1).
An Emco Profit Center Receptionist is expected to:
- Represent the Profit Center in a professional manner

Job Summary
Receptionist duties will include creating a welcoming environment, greeting, informing and directing visitors and teammates in a warm, courteous, and professional manner
Job Duties
- Answers the phone in a timely, positive manner. As well as direct calls to the appropriate teammate
- Greets and assisting visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
- Assisting with a variety of Administrative tasks, shipping feedback, customer returns.
- Filing invoices
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Ordering and organizing office supplies
- Submitting invoices to Head Office
- Office errands
- Ensuring reception and other common areas are clean and organized
- Understand and follow all safety regulations at all customer locations as well as at the Profit Centre
- Uphold Emco Core Values at all times
- Support all Profit Centre activities as part of the Profit Centre team
- Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by immediate supervisor or Profit Centre Manager

- Display impeccable and professional phone demeanor
- Having a friendly and engaging personality in order to foster and maintain positive relationships

- Efficiently filing documents, as well as proactively maintaining a clean and organized workspace

- Using creativity and mature judgement to resolve problems in a timely manner
- Administrative skills:
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer word, excel, OFFICE 365
- High levels of flexibility, responsiveness and resourcefulness:
- Having an extensive knowledge of standard office practices, procedures and equipment
- Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
- Willing to invest a minimum of 40 hours in training annually
- Intermediate math skills – add, subtract, multiply, divide, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Read, write, speak and understand English
Education and Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with customer service.
- Use of the Microsoft Office software
- M3 Infor knowledge an asset but not required.
