Job Description:

Our Help Desk support is the first point of contact for our users and provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance within our office.

The selected candidate will need a strong understanding of computer hardware, basic networking, and the Windows operating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to IT support requests via email, phone, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting and basic network configuration.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system.
  • Provide support for Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Educate users on best practices and provide training as needed.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and common software applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic server administration.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn!
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-oriented and patient.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
  • A degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in a customer service or technical support role.

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
