Duties
- Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various products.
- Perform pre-trip inspection of the vehicle.
- Deliver products over established routes.
- Accept or make payments for goods.
- Ensure correct loading of the vehicle.
- Operate the vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road.
- Record information on pick-ups and deliveries, vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
- Communicate with dispatch.
- Load and unload products safely using provided tools (e.g., dollies, lifts, etc.).
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status, following applicable provincial and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience.
- 2+ years of delivery driving experience (Note: Cab/Uber/food delivery experience, such as pizza driving, is not accepted).
- Comply with all company policies regarding the delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form.
- Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that loads are secure.
- Ensure that materials are protected from outdoor elements.
- Deliver products and proper paperwork to customers in a courteous and timely manner.
- Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery issues.
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift, including inspection logs, delivery receipts, and hours of service.
- Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
- Over time as required.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds.

- Ensure you have an up-to-date license, clear CVOR, and a clear criminal record.
- Safety shoes are mandatory.
- Must have 2+ years of Canadian driving experience; please note that cab/Uber/food delivery experience is not accepted—must be delivery truck loading and offloading.
