About the Company:
Our client, a leading provider of commercial services, is seeking a bilingual (English & French) Accounting Clerk to manage financial operations and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and send client invoices, tracking outstanding payments
- Maintain financial records and assist with month-end closing procedures
- Support payroll processing by monitoring employee hours
- Assist in preparing financial reports for audits and tax filings
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy
- Perform additional administrative and accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: 1-3 years in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or a similar role
- Software Proficiency: QuickBooks
- Languages: Fluency in English and French (mandatory)
