Seasonal Landscaper Full-Time & Part-Time

Garden City Tree & Landscape Ltd.
Location: Victoria, BC

We are looking for motivated and hardworking Seasonal Landscapers to join our Landscape Construction and Vegetation Management divisions for the 2025 season. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the landscaping industry. Position Details:

• Start Date: First week of May 2025
• End Date: End of August 2025
• Full time & Part time Availability:
  • Full-time (Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
  • Part-time (2-3 days a week from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Lawn care, weeding, pruning of plant material, garden clean up, etc.
• Grading, raking, shoveling, sod, pavers, plant installation and general landscape construction support.
• Operate small landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and others.
• Load, unload, and transport materials as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to complete daily tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

• No prior landscaping experience required; but is an asset.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, shoveling, raking, weeding, and working in various weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Class 5 drivers license is an asset.

Compensation
$20-23 per hour depending on skills and experience.
