Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing/Communications Intern to join our dynamic team for the period of May to August 2025. This is a summer internship. This role offers hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and brand strategy within the construction industry.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong writing and design skills who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to learn. As the intern, you will support the Marketing Manager in executing marketing initiatives, managing our digital presence, and creating content that showcases MARANTs expertise. This internship is a full-time, 35-hour-per-week role and a great opportunity to gain practical B2B marketing experience and develop valuable industry insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and proofread website content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Update and maintain website content as needed.
  • Develop project profiles/case studies to highlight MARANTs expertise in various formats.
  • Assist with creating and scheduling social media content to enhance brand awareness.
  • Track project photography progress and assist in coordinating scheduled photo shoots.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials, including brochures and presentations.
  • Organize and oversee the ordering of print materials, ensuring items are stocked at each office.
  • Manage inventory and assist in ordering branded apparel and promotional items.
  • Provide administrative support for marketing initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging content.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience with design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a creative mindset and a keen eye for design.
  • An interest in architecture, construction, design, or real estate is a plus.
