About the Role

Falcon Electric is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage and develop a portfolio of accounts, ensuring exceptional service and fostering long-term customer relationships. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive revenue growth.

Whatyoull be doing

Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Manage customer accounts by ensuringaccurate order processing, tracking delivery schedules, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Work with new customers to set up vendor portals and ensure all necessary documentation, including supplier quality certificates, ismaintained and updated.
  • Coordinate with customers on purchase orders (POs), delivery schedules, and product specifications.
  • Communicate proactively with customersregarding estimated delivery times (ETD/ETA), shipping methods, and any required changes.
  • Provide product details, technical information, and application guidance to customers.
  • Support customers with return material authorization (RMA) requests and provide necessary technical information.
  • Review and process requests for quotations (RFQs) and customer drawings.

Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts and explore new business opportunities.
  • Conduct outreach to potential customers to understand their requirements and propose solutions.
  • Prepare and send pricing quotes based on customer requirements and company pricing strategies.
  • Engage in proactive follow-ups through calls, emails, and virtual meetings to maintain customer engagement.
  • Work with internal teams to develop strategic account plans and meet sales targets.
  • Participate in sales meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote Falcon Electrics products and services.

Interfacing with Internal Teams:

  • Collaborate with the Production Team to ensure accurate order processing, update shipment dates, and manage priority shipments.
  • Liaise with the Engineering Team to review customer technical requirements, provide outline drawings, and coordinate solutions for specialized applications.
  • Work with Supply Chain & Logistics to coordinate shipments, ensure timely delivery, and manage documentation for international shipments.

What you bring to the table

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in account management, business development, or a related role in the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Experience working with a sales cycle of 6-18 months.
  • Familiarity with CRM software for tracking customer activities and managing sales pipelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with international suppliers.
  • Experience in an ISO-regulated environment and process-driven company is an asset.
  • Prior project experience in the electronics industry, UPS, or design engineering phases is a plus.
  • Ability to travel within the United States and between the US and Canada asrequired for business needs.
