About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Manufacturing Data Analyst to join our clients team. This role is instrumental in leveraging data to optimize manufacturing efficiency, improve product quality, and minimize operational costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis within a manufacturing setting and the ability to turn raw data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze manufacturing data from multiple sources such as MES, ERP systems, and production databases.

  • Utilize statistical analysis and data visualization tools (Python, MATLAB, SQL, Power BI, etc.) to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate key performance metrics to stakeholders.

  • Work closely with production teams to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency based on data-driven recommendations.

  • Monitor inventory and resource utilization, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency in stock management.

  • Support quality control initiatives by analyzing defect data and working with teams to implement corrective actions.

  • Assist in financial planning and budgeting through predictive analysis and cost evaluation.

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, company policies, and compliance regulations related to data integrity and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python, MATLAB, SQL, or Power BI.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively translate complex data into understandable insights.

  • Experience with inventory management, production metrics, and quality control analysis.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, PMP, Six Sigma) are considered an asset.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
