POSITION SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the NFI Recruitment strategy, specializing in sourcing top talent to meet organizations employment needs while maintaining compliance and hiring laws and enhancing company diversity and inclusion (“D&I”) strategies. The position will collaborate closely with HR teams, hiring managers, and external partners to foster positive relationships to ensure a seamless and effective recruitment process. Your passion for recruitment will be an asset to our organization where teamwork, safety and integrity are valued.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

· Support our talent acquisition goals by crafting strategic and timely recruitment initiatives that encompass innovative sourcing methods and tailored development programs for specific skill sets.

· Partner with HR teams and hiring managers to gain insight into talent requirements and create effective recruitment strategies.

· Implement proactive sourcing techniques to discover and engage top-notch candidates.

· Build a diverse candidate pipeline through creative marketing tools, professional networks, and optimized systems and processes.

· Evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural alignment via interviews and assessments, providing prompt feedback to both candidates and hiring managers.

· Generate insightful recruitment reports and metrics to monitor progress, assess effectiveness, and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.

· Represent NFI Group of companies at career fairs, college events, and similar gatherings.

· Advocate for NFI Group of companies across various platforms, including social media, job boards, and networking events like career fairs and college recruitment sessions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

· Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, along with relevant work experience.

· 2-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition with a focus on full-cycle recruitment.

· Proven experience collaborating with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

· Proficient in computer and analytical skills, utilizing various programs and platforms.

· Strong background in Human Resources.

· Experience working with organizations that support historically disadvantaged communities.

· Skilled in organizing events and programs.
