  • Improve access to care by replacing faxes, displaying wait times, and reducing the time to process and access specialist referrals.

Who we need

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to design, implement, and optimize the internal systems and tools that support our day-to-day operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing cross-platform automations and managing integrations between CRM platforms, ticketing systems, and our learning management system (LMS). You will also lead improvements to knowledge management practices and create data dashboards that surface insights to support decision-making. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys building practical solutions rather than focusing solely on strategy. Your technical expertise, ability to think in systems, and focus on operational efficiency will contribute directly to advancing our mission to improve healthcare delivery.

This full-time, hybrid role requires working in our Toronto office, two to three days per week.

How you will make an impact:

  • Business automation and workflow optimization. You will manage and enhance critical business automations, designing and implementing cross-platform workflows using tools such as Make, Power Automate, and API integrations. You will set up new automations, refine existing workflows, and ensure seamless data flow between CRM, ticketing systems, and the LMS. Your role will require both front-end and back-end system configuration, allowing you to directly create automation scripts and optimize processes to support business operations.
  • Systems management and integration. You will be responsible for the technical setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of key internal systems, ensuring they function efficiently and integrate effectively with one another. This includes managing SaaS-based tools, APIs, and automation platforms to streamline operations. You will also work on custom solutions when existing software does not fully meet business needs, ensuring that various tools communicate properly across teams.
  • Data analytics and business intelligence. You will build and maintain analytics dashboards and reporting tools across multiple platforms, including CRM, Freshdesk, Freshsales, and LMS. Your work will involve data analysis, particularly in assessing the utility of AI-driven tools, applying different analytic methods, and working with business databases such as MongoDB. By developing reporting tools and structuring data insights, you will enable managers and teams to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge systems and information management. You will design and maintain classification, organization, and retrieval systems for critical business and product information. Your responsibilities include managing taxonomies, metadata standards, and internal search functionalities to ensure efficient knowledge sharing. You will also document automation-related processes, troubleshoot existing workflows, and support continuous improvements in internal knowledge systems.
  • Emerging technology integration. You will lead API improvements, explore AI-driven solutions, and evaluate emerging technologies that enhance automation and operational efficiency. While this role is not focused on AI, you will be expected to integrate AI tools where they provide practical value. You will ensure data quality, accessibility, and security compliance while testing and deploying automation solutions in controlled environments before full-scale implementation.

What you bring:

  • The technical expertise. You have in-depth experience in business automation, data analysis, or information architecture. You are technically agnostic with a broad range of tools you are comfortable using and the ability to quickly learn new ones. You have a strong understanding of SaaS platforms, API integrations, and automation tools such as Make and Power Automate. You are proficient in Python for data analysis and automation, with experience working with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • The systems thinking. You have expertise in structuring knowledge management systems and improving data retrieval. You are process-driven, highly analytical and skilled in data organization, integration methodologies, and business intelligence. You have experience managing multiple SaaS platforms, including CRMs, knowledge bases, and ticketing systems.
  • The passion for emerging technologies. You are eager to leverage AI tools to enhance business operations and improve decision-making. You have experience implementing AI-powered solutions or are excited to explore their potential.
  • The communication skills. You have professional verbal and written skills. You excel at translating technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. You have strong collaboration skills and can engage with both technical and non-technical teams to drive projects forward.
