Job Summary:
The Data Protection Specialist maintains a safe and secure tooling environment for engineers by enforcing security policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for investigating & identifying improper security practices and collaborating with teams to cleanup sensitive security data across Zebra engineering tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive data protection cleanup initiatives and socially promote these programs as part of the overall engineering business culture.
Proactively collaborate with engineering teams related to data protection & cleanup activities.
Conduct risk analysis and security assessments within our engineering tools to identify and evaluate risk to Zebra when prioritizing cleanup timelines.
Creates clear project Scope statements, and builds supporting plans which effectively factors in resource availability, task durations, and related dependencies.
Checks progress regularly against the plan and adjusts to optimize execution. Recommends alternative opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Documents progress against the project plan throughout the project.
Presents status updates to the team and immediate manager. Status reports are expected to be concise summaries, tailored to the audience.

Must have the ability to effectively and efficiently work
with team members across business units.
Must have the appropriate character and discretion to
maintain confidentiality in all areas of the business, both
personal and professional
