Sales & Marketing Coordinator
12-month Contract Position
Charton Hobbs, Canadas largest privately held wine & spirits importer, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to represent our brands as Sales & Marketing Coordinator based in Calgary, Alberta, reporting to the Sales Manager in Alberta. The ideal candidate will be a balanced combination of creative, customer/sales-oriented, analytical, organized, and attentive to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support AB/SK/MB
- Supporting the Sales Team:
- summarizing the past weeks sales performance,
- providing current inventory updates
- weekly brand focus summary
- printing sales materials for the sales reps
- updating the portfolio price lists
- Rep Marketing Collateral Requests
- Manage product allocations in Liquor Connect website
- Creating event/sponsorship Gift baskets
- Setting up and working at Trade/Consumer Events
- Assist with coordinating POS materials and organizing the warehouse
- Managing retail chain LTO grids and listing applications for AB/SK/MB
- Ordering/coordinating the purchase of product samples
- AGLC/SLGA/MBLL Registrations
Marketing & Design support AB/SK/MB
- Advertising Culinaire & Liquor Connect Ads
- LTO Sell Sheets
- Creating and updating Objective Sell Sheets & Other POS such as Backer Cards, Neck tags, Price Cards for print
- Creating and sending out the LTO sell sheets and emails for broadcast bi-weekly
- Sales Meeting Presentation Templates
- Special Event, Supplier Visits, and Itineraries
- Updating the Marketing Grid
- Social Media Posts
The Ideal Candidate Should:
- Be proficient in excel, word processing and graphic design skills, especially Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator & InDesign.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Completed basic wine education/appreciation courses
- Be a self-starter who is eager to advance their career with a keen eye for innovation.
- Be a strong communicator and able to manage multiple tasks at one time
- Able to execute high standards of performance and work within tight deadlines to advance the company.
Have a valid ProServe certificate
