Job Description

Halton Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic and motivated students to join our team for the summer. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, support various departments, and contribute to the overall patient and staff experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the ICT Service Desk team in providing technical support.

- Engage with special projects (Windows 11 + One Drive)

- Assist with data entry, report preparation, and document organization.

- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations

Qualifications
  • Must be a current student enrolled in a post-secondary institution and returning in September to full-time studies.

  • Interest in technology including operations, networking or cybersecurity

  • Comfort with Microsoft applications and support, as well as thin clients is ideal

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and adaptable to different tasks

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada


Additional Information

Status: Temporary Full-time (Approx. 3 months)

Hours: Monday - Friday; Days; 7.5 hours (subject to change based on operational requirements)

Salary: $20.710 per hour
