Title: Network Administrator
Location: Ontario, Canada
Job Type: Long-Term Contract
Rate: $ 28 - 30// CAD

We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This role requires hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, configuring network devices, and implementing best practices for enterprise networking.

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Configure and optimize LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and cloud-based networking solutions.

• Implement network security policies, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.

• Work with cross-functional IT teams to support network-related issues and enhancements.

• Manage and update network documentation, diagrams, and procedures.

• Perform regular network performance tuning and capacity planning.

• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

• Provide support for network-related incidents, escalations, and root cause analysis.

• Assist with disaster recovery planning and implementation for network infrastructure.

• 3+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Juniper networking equipment.

• Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.

• Experience with firewalls, load balancers, and network security tools.

• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

• Understanding of ITIL framework and change management processes.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
