Location - Stratford, ON

Full Time - In Office - With flexible hours

Busy, dynamic, very successful multiple line insurance and financial service firm in Stratford looking to add an administrative assistant to our amazing team. Our customer first approach makes us a leader in the insurance and financial services fields in Perth County, and sets this opportunity apart from other jobs listed in this area for a person who takes a lot of pride in the what they do, and wants the opportunity to affect people's lives each and every day.

Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
  • Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
  • Maintains security and telecommunications system.
  • Operates in office telecommunication system.
  • Managing office correspondence and scheduling appointments.
  • Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Supporting the sales and operations teams with administrative tasks.
  • Process premium payments and follow up for over due premium.
  • Contributes to team effort by completing other tasks as needed.

Office hours are 9-5, but working hours are flexible if needed. A competitive salary, paid vacation time and benefits are included.

Qualifications / Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency on PC, Internet, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Verbal, communication and listening skills.
  • Professionalism
  • Organization
  • Handles pressure and has the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
