Salary: $95,454 to $113,062

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the equipment and property of Sagkeeng Child and Family Services. They play a role in maintaining and optimizing the physical infrastructure and ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Manage and maintain all equipment and facilities, including but not limited to machinery, vehicles, office equipment, and physical infrastructure
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of equipment
  • Coordinator with vendors and contractors for repairs, upgrades and maintenance services as needed Conduct regular property inspections and assessments of equipment to identify any issues or potential risks
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and reduce repairs costs.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment, ensuring that records are up to date and properly documented
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure that equipment and facility needs meet within budget constraints
  • Update and maintain property conditions reports withrespect to roofs, HVAC units, parking lots etc..
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, identifying and addressing any potential hazards or non-compliance practices
  • Coordinate and oversees facility improvement projects, including renovations, expansions, or relocations (Obtain bids)
  • Supervise contractors and maintenance staff for services and repairs to property Complete other special projects and duties as assigned
  • Maintain a file of certificates of insurances for vendors Prepare new vendor contract and manage renewals
  • Maintain a schedule of services contract by property
    Maintain and update a list of preferred vendors in each trade
    Prepare comprehensive management reports for all property on a quarterly basis
    Prepare and manager annual operating budgets
