Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with expertise in data mapping, advanced SQL, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting business and data requirements, ensuring seamless collaboration between business and technical teams, and driving data-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements, ensuring the creation of comprehensive and detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Data Requirement Specifications (DRS).

Perform data mapping and work closely with data teams to ensure accurate data transformations and lineage tracking.

Develop and maintain Inter-Space Specifications Documents, ensuring consistency and clarity across different teams.

Utilize advanced SQL to analyze and validate data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting and data management.

Collaborate with Data Mart Owners, Modeling Teams, and other key stakeholders to align business and technical objectives.

Lead discussions and effectively communicate requirements between business and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Ensure strong stakeholder management, balancing business needs and technical feasibility while managing expectations.

Work on data lineage tracking, ensuring transparency and traceability of data flow across various systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a BSA (Business Systems Analyst) in data-driven environments.

Strong data mapping expertise with a deep understanding of data transformations.

Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and reporting.

Experience in writing Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Data Requirement Specifications (DRS).

Strong experience in developing Inter-Space Specification Documents and ensuring comprehensive requirement documentation.

Ability to work with Data Mart Owners, Modeling Teams, and cross-functional teams to drive data initiatives.

Experience with data lineage tracking and ensuring data traceability across multiple systems.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex data concepts to business and technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in banking, finance, or data-heavy industries.

Familiarity with data governance and compliance best practices.

Knowledge of data modeling concepts is a plus.
