As a Manager of Finance an international organization, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various financial functions. Based in the Vaughan area, you will be responsible for Accounts Payable, Treasury, Reporting, Forecasting, End of Month Close, and HR responsibilities. An ideal candidate will hold a CPA designation with a strong background in IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Treasury:
    • Manage the treasury function, including bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
    • Facilitate wire transfers and other liquidity management activities.
  2. Reporting:
    • Prepare and distribute various financial reports, providing key insights to support decision-making.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for reporting purposes.
  3. Accounts Payable:
    • Oversee the Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
    • Review and approve payments in compliance with company policies.
  4. Forecasting:
    • Lead the forecasting process, providing valuable financial insights and projections for strategic planning.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather inputs and assumptions for accurate forecasts.
  5. End of Month Close:
    • Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Review balance sheet and profit and loss accounts for accuracy and completeness.
  6. HR Responsibilities:
    • Manage HR functions related to payroll, benefits administration, and employee record maintenance.
    • Collaborate with HR teams to ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  7. IFRS and Compliance:
    • Apply extensive knowledge of IFRS in financial reporting and compliance activities.
    • Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • CPA designation ideal with a strong background in IFRS.
  • Proven experience in a similar finance leadership role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic, multinational environment.
