Ruth & Naomis Mission is seeking a Community Outreach Manager to oversee shelters, outreach programs, and employment initiatives that serve our communitys most vulnerable.

What Youll Do
- Lead and manage frontline shelter and outreach staff, including Shift Supervisors, Client Engagement Workers, and Program Coordinators.
- Oversee key community programs such as the Overdose Prevention Site and Street Clean-Up Employment Program.
- Ensure smooth daily operations of shelters and outreach programs while maintaining budget efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with community partners, government agencies, and external service providers.
- Track and measure program success, including shelter occupancy, client transition rates, and service engagement.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and hope-filled environment for staff, volunteers, and clients.
What You Bring
- Education & Experience: Post-secondary certificate in social services or equivalent experience required.
- Leadership: Minimum four years of supervisory experience in a social services, outreach, or shelter setting.
- Training: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, WHMIS, and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Skills: Strong conflict resolution, crisis management, and operational leadership abilities.
- Personal Attributes: A heart for serving marginalized communities and a commitment to ethical, faith-based leadership.
