Landscape Junior Technician (hardscape/softscape)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Landscape Junior Technician to join our team in our Landscape Construction team . In this role, you will work closely with our experienced landscapers and contribute to the creation of stunning outdoor environments for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of various landscape features, including hardscapes, plantings, and irrigation systems.
• Trim hedges shrubs and perform general landscaping and maintenance tasks.
• Load/unload and secure equipment onto trucks and trailers.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Learn and develop skills in landscape construction techniques.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform seasonal winter work on anti ice and snow removal as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping or construction is an asset.
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform outdoor labor. (Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop for extended period in a fast paced environment with repetitive tasks)
• Available to work a varied schedule in sometimes adverse weather conditions
  
• Enthusiasm for working in an outdoor environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Drivers License Class 5 is an asset

Compensation

$23-$26 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Work Location:Different Greater Victoria work sites.
