Cuts materials such as fiberglass mat, foam and balsa based on department requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Operator will be required to use multiple pieces of equipment such as table saw, band saw, and CNC equipment as well as manual hand tools to cut the components.
- Cuts materials according to laminate schedule with a minimum of waste using a tape measure, knife, scissors, and CNC cutting table.
- Reads blueprints and be able to finish a part to the specifications shown on the print.
- Uses of all air and power tools which are used to cut, trim, drill, router, sand and grind.
- Ensures materials are set up for daily production requirements in all areas as specified by the schedule and or leader.
- Uses jigs and fixtures to mark materials for trimming and / or machining.
- Required to load and unload material; store and manage inventory as well as ensure quality requirements are met or exceeded.
- Supports and adheres to all Lean and 5s initiatives.
- Daily maintenance of assigned department tools and equipment.
- Documents all non-conformities on a Corrective & Preventative Action report (CAPAR).
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Knowledge of relevant measuring & testing equipment as applicable to the product.
- Good verbal and written communication
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Demonstrated ability on initiative and sound judgment
- Ability to operate lift truck, Dolly, and/or Pallet Jack
