We're seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our alarm and security systems service team. In this role, you'll oversee system installations, inspections, and maintenance while ensuring top-tier customer service and compliance with safety standards.
What You'll Do:
System Testing & Maintenance: Oversee regular testing, inspection, and service of alarm and security systems.
Site Review: Evaluate job sites and review plans to guide material needs and installation methods.
Customer Training: Show customers how to use systems, explain false alarm causes, and offer hands-on training.
Repairs: Diagnose and repair circuits and sensors to ensure proper functionality.
Compliance: Ensure all work meets national and local codes and regulations.
Team Leadership: Manage and support a team of technicians through training, scheduling, and performance guidance.
Customer Relations: Address customer questions or issues promptly and professionally.
Documentation: Keep detailed records of service visits, repairs, inspections, and customer interactions.
Process Improvement: Identify ways to improve workflows, service quality, and team efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Background in alarm/security systems service, with monitoring systems experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Siemens and/or Mircom ESD systems is a plus.
Leadership: Proven team management experience with the ability to mentor and motivate.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
Customer Focus: A commitment to delivering excellent service.
