The Director will work closely with vendors to optimize raw material sourcing, agreements, and logistics, ensuring business continuity and profitability. Additionally, this role is responsible for managing the logistics and supply chain activities of the Packaging Supplies business, working closely with sales teams and vendors to optimize sourcing and supply chain activities to minimize cost and complexity while maximizing customer experience (CX) and business unit profitability.
The Director will also oversee resource requirements, including warehouse space, to support a growing business.
Integrated Business Planning & S&OP Leadership

• Lead the S&OP process for the Specialty Group, ensuring strong collaboration between sales, supply chain, operations, and finance to align demand and supply plans.
• Work with the sales team to develop accurate demand forecasts that drive effective production and inventory planning.
• Collaborate with plant operations to optimize production schedules, capacity planning, and asset utilization to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure seamless alignment between financial and operational planning, providing data-driven insights for executive decision-making.
Supply Chain & Vendor Management
• Work with vendors and procurement teams to optimize raw material sourcing, supplier agreements, and logistics to ensure cost-effectiveness and supply reliability.
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to mitigate risk, improve lead times, and drive savings.
• Actively identify and implement cost-saving measures within the supply chain, logistics, and vendor network.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize freight, warehousing, and distribution strategies.
• Work closely with sales teams and vendors to optimize Pack Supply sourcing and supply chain activities to minimize cost and complexity while maximizing CX and business unit profitability.
Operational & Financial Performance
• Maximize plant assets and production efficiency through capacity planning, materials management, and inventory optimization.
• Continuously evaluate and improve inventory policies, safety stock levels, and working capital management.
• Provide reporting and analytics to business unit leaders, enabling data-driven decisions on production, sourcing, and customer demand trends.
• Establish and track key performance metrics (KPIs) for forecasting accuracy, inventory turns, supplier performance, and cost reductions.
• Manage resource requirements, including warehouse space, and actively find solutions to support a growing business.
Customer Experience (CX) & Business Growth
• Drive CX initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and supply chain responsiveness.
• Monitor and report on key CX KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement in service levels and fulfillment accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes that enhance the overall customer experience.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Lead and mentor a high-performing planning team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation. • Drive collaboration across sales, finance, operations, and supply chain functions to ensure the seamless execution of business strategies.
• Partner with finance to integrate operational planning with the company's financial goals, ensuring alignment with revenue and profitability objectives.
• Develop and implement best practices for demand planning, supply planning, and business process optimization.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, S&OP, or IBP within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of leading S&OP and IBP processes, integrating financial and operational planning.
• Strong expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning.
• Experience working with ERP and advanced planning systems
•Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
