• Position: Environmental Waste Consultant / Lead Waste Auditor
• Start Date: Spring/Summer 2025
• Work Hours: Full-time, flexible (32 hours/week minimum, MondayThursday schedule available)
• Salary: $50,000 - $62,000 annually (depending on experience)
• Office Location: Remote (work-from-home)
• Travel: Travel required to conduct field work, in-person team meetings, and attend events.

• Lead comprehensive waste audits and Zero Waste facility assessments.
• Prepare clear, actionable audit reports and assessments for clients.
• Guide clients through Zero Waste Certification processes.
• Collaborate with clients virtually and in-person, delivering tailored presentations and solutions.
• Support in the development of certification programs and manage related administrative tasks.
• Engage in marketing and sales efforts to build our client base.
• Represent HSR Zero Waste at virtual and in-person industry events, including speaking engagements.
• Deliver engaging Zero Waste educational presentations and webinars.
• Draft compelling case studies showcasing client successes.

• Post-secondary education in environmental studies, sustainability, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience conducting and leading waste audits, managing audit teams.
• Experience or familiarity with greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculations is an asset.
• Knowledge of Zero Waste principles, policies, and programs.
• Strong communication, writing, and public speaking skills.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results independently.
• Enthusiastic about continuous learning and career growth within the Zero Waste field.
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Google Docs, and PowerPoint.
